Wynyard, Table Cape, Boat Harbour & Sisters Beach

WYNYARD is a substantial village some 15 minutes west of Burnie and a 'must see' destination thanks to its Wonders of Wynyard exhibition that includes Australia's largest collection of restored Ford motor vehicles, including a 1903 model believed to be the equal oldest in the world. The car collection is housed inside the Visitor Information Centre which also has a small gallery which hosts some excellent exhibitions of local craft, art and collections.

Nearby TABLE CAPE is home to the famous tulip farm which explodes in color every October-November. The rows of tulips are well worth a visit and clearly visible from the air too! The views over Bass Strait from the tulip farm will also give you an indication of the natural beauty of BOAT HARBOUR BEACH and SISTERS BEACH which together form a double beachside hamlet of holiday homes and houses for permanent residents.

Visit Things to See and Do for more details and check out Accommodation.
